Alia Braxton is a Master’s student in the Professional Counseling program at Dallas Baptist University. As she enters her practicum, Alia is dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered care to individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She is especially passionate about renewing the mind and helping clients identify unhealthy thought patterns, develop emotional resilience, and experience lasting growth and healing. Through a collaborative and supportive approach, Alia strives to create a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered in their therapeutic journey. Under the close supervision of Taran McGowen, LPC-S, Alia is committed to fostering hope, healing, and personal growth in every client.
