Danielle Evans, LPC-A
Associate Clinician
Hi, I’m Danielle. I work primarily with women who experience intense emotions, relationship instability, and difficulty regulating their emotional responses. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed by mood shifts, struggle with fear of abandonment, experience conflict in relationships, or feel stuck in patterns that leave them exhausted and disconnected from themselves. If you want to feel more emotionally steady, trust yourself, and build healthier relationships, therapy can help. My goal is not just symptom relief, but deep, sustainable healing grounded in insight and practical tools.
My approach integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)–informed strategies with an attachment-focused lens to help you understand the roots of your emotional patterns and create lasting change. Together, we work to strengthen emotional regulation, improve communication, increase distress tolerance, and develop a more secure relationship with yourself and others.
I have experience working with a wide range of populations, including completing my internship at a domestic violence nonprofit where I also provided case management, as well as serving as a therapist in a dual-diagnosis PHP/IOP setting. I am especially passionate about working with individuals who have Borderline Personality Disorder or BPD traits and who want to heal relational trauma, attachment wounds, and the deeply ingrained belief that they are “too much.”
My passion for this work is personal. After experiencing my own mental health challenges and being introduced to DBT skills in therapy, I experienced firsthand how powerful it can be to learn how to understand, regulate, and work through intense emotions. That experience deeply informs my work and the compassion I bring to the therapy room.
Therapy with me is a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. I value honesty, emotional safety, and authenticity, and I strive to create an environment where you feel understood, validated, and gently challenged in ways that support real change. I truly believe that with the right support, meaningful healing and lasting change are possible.
