Trauma & Relationship Intensives
Healing Beyond the Weekly Therapy Session
Intensives at Thrive House
Some wounds require more than fifty minutes.
While weekly therapy can be incredibly effective, there are times when healing benefits from uninterrupted space to slow down, process deeply and thoroughly, and focus on the experiences that continue to shape your life and relationships.
At Thrive House Wellness, our Trauma & Relationship Intensives provide an immersive therapeutic experience designed to help individuals and couples move beyond symptom management and begin addressing the underlying wounds contributing to emotional distress, unhealthy patterns, and relationship challenges.
Whether you’re navigating unresolved childhood experiences, complex trauma, relationship distress, looking to strengthen your relationship or identify and heal patterns that seem to repeat no matter how hard you try, an intensive provides dedicated time to slow down, gain clarity, and move toward lasting healing —within a few hours to days.
What is an Intensive?
An intensive is more than longer therapy hours. It is a focused experience that allows us to accomplish what may otherwise take months of traditional weekly sessions.
Rather than working through one topic at a time, intensives provide dedicated time to explore your story, process unresolved experiences, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop meaningful strategies for lasting change.
Every intensive is thoughtfully customized to your goals, history, and current needs.
Depending on your circumstances, your intensive may incorporate evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, attachment-based therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems, parts work, mindfulness and other trauma-informed approaches.
